Opening! ...

One day, my songs have crossed your life, you and I have written. Today is for me to respond ... Internet is more than a screen between us, it is also a thread that connects us. I never stopped singing, writing. And if the discretion of a stage career and pen accommodates less than the harsh light of arc lamps, it finds its place in the privacy of a letter, in a hushed exchange, more conducive to confidence in confidence. We corresponded a lot, thousands of e ...

And here is the Blog ... Instant personal, reactive, it can erase the simple click of a phrase I keep hearing "you can not see him much ..." and you can listen to the concerts, the announcement of next album of original songs for January 2008, an upcoming series of concerts in Paris. The list shows the province is in the blog. Reviews that I write each month in the magazine "Panorama" last four years there are also, as the contact details of associations to which I support, the lyrics of all songs with musical excerpts, download, and soon scores online, opinion pieces, and your reactions. And more, because everything remains to be invented ...

Since we are always connected. This is probably what allowed me to continue writing, producing. Your best evidenced by letters. Concerts are always intense moments of shared emotion.

The showcase of songs evolves. Our business, evolving, changing shape, means of communication. The "information, less massive, is all the more true, more direct and authentic. Internet help compensate for the melting of the radius bins "disks." But I've never felt so free, so happy to sing, to write. Pleased to announce the birth of "blog apart", here we are again in contact.

To date, I'm just finishing writing the new album. Soon I'll record it and I'll tell you in as and the adventure of this work, by posting the rep Photo guitare étitions, performance clips, videos "Blog Special" ...

A craftsman in love with my dear profession
I still ...

Unconditional release.
At very fast ...

Oh what joy, what a lot of vitamins received this morning to find your mail even if alien language! But we have resources: it was enough to make a simple Google search to find it!

MR Duteil big thank you, we need dreams, escape, poetry, (even those who do not want to admit it) and you are among those who distribute galore: GMO-free, all natural, handmade, to without moderation!

Thanks to you, our senses awake, stay alert, and although as many believe, we do see a lot more and you do not hear enough over the airwaves, you stay in the palm of our projects, our goals achieve, to raise us ever higher.

    As you so rightly sing:
    "The songs travel on foot
    In secret in closed hearts
    It is mothers who learn
    their children taking them over
    They will eventually burst
    Under heaven of freedom "

AND, despite this reality, it is not these makers of success that will prevent us from continuing to dream:
as sung so well in Pierre Perret "You do not color":
.... "In service stations, all ready to sing in the brilliant service you pedant would have quickly ruled out (speaking of Georges Brassens).

Thank you for your blog, and see you soon, I signed up for everything! lol

Cool! What a good idea to do a blog! I was reading one of Patrick Bruel (although this is not he who writes it) and now I am very happy to read yours too. And what good news also to know that a new disk is in the works! I look forward to its release, it will have to wait all this time! But since you're going to talk about on this blog, time goes faster. By the way, what does it do to the radio broadcast you decide to? Radio programming is dismal, it is very restrictive means always the same. No place is left to those who leave some of the standard and unknown talent. That's why I'm glad you'll be able to comment on this blog. And you want to read.

    "Communicate"

Key word which you graduate expert and for which there is no secret for you, your writings testify.

The blog, over a vast global web, allows you to be even closer to the public. We can, we also respond more easily. The media have, therefore, the same impact.

    Next to new.

    See you soon.

I return for a small technicality. Should publish a "RSS feed". This is used to register your readers to your blog address in a service aggregator (ouche I know what all this is not poetic). For example I have an account Bloglines http://www.bloglines.com (it's free) and I created a list of all my favorite blogs to read. Whenever an author publishes a list of the new ticket, I "warned". This is handy for blog addicts ....

Thank you for your blog gives me lift your heart, I knew you with your songs, I was on the benches of the school and your voice touched me deep in my heart, please consider I do not know, but since days, you're part of my life, although I've never seen him in concert or other .. I love your voice and the way we do warm the heart of your poems into songs, the first song you heard was "TURN" and took the turn that day was that of admiration for an artist and a man of heart, close to nature and humanity, for it all and especially YVES Please continue to make us dream.

    Dear Yves
I am Brazilian, French teacher for a long time. I lived in Paris from 1977 to 1980, and I often had no other company that radio where I liked to hear a young singer - you! Since then, songs have been part of my life, and whenever I find myself a little discouraged, I listen to your songs, and it's as if I found a new reason to live.
I am very glad I found this blog, where you demonstrate, once again, a sensitivity and an admirable poetic talent.
    With much love

    Mr. Duteil
you are the inspiration of my life, my songs, to me. You are one of my best matches, a little short perhaps. I do not say enough thank you for everything you brought into my life without my even noticing me do
the gloomy thoughts that have crossed my mind drowned in your songs and have turned into messages of freedom and happiness.
I hope you will be there much longer on the French scene to please us, cry, become aware of certain things, laugh (you never know)
    thank you!

The title appeared ... "opening! ". A kind of small safe. I wriggles, I Flageole, you see, and in haste, I read your blog! The adventure of creating the new album, concert excerpts, video "blog special" ticket mood, it's incredible! ... You show us your guitar, by which the secret of the secret is transmitted, and you're working for now ... Do not rush ... Search patiently. And there! Still in amazement, I found a few sentences that I had written ... What a pleasure to be here in the mail! Bubbles form letters, rise slowly ... I took off my glasses and I travel through the window! "If the lost happiness were flying in smoke ...". Since then everything changes! I walk like a sleepwalker, still surprised to recognize my two little excerpts of letters among many others. Well done, the scope of the correspondence to reread! Well, now, back on earth! I'll take my most normal! Thank you so much for this new blog that you really like, with the island of All Saints at home! Unless this is a dream that has come clear to me! Let's see!

What a great initiative this blog! An additional gateway between those who love you and you. Thank you for every word and every note. Thank you for the love you distil it over to your lyrics and melodies of this world really needs. Because this is where the richness of your songs: the content and form. A musical cradle to coat each piece giving rise to something other than just songs. Writings that challenge us, touch us, affect us on choruses that balladent for long in our heads. I wait to see the album! You're hoping for an acoustic concert in Paris in September to sponsor an artist of the new scene. "Gateway to the Archipelago" ... A small bridge over to tell you thank you for being the one we love.
    A Prestu!

    Hello Yves,
I'll probably run out of originality by telling you that your songs have been with me that a teacher had the happy idea of teaching us "Take a child". It was in 1978. Almost thirty years later, this is my little Marie who was barely three months that I have the pleasure of rocking to the sound of your voice. No doubt she will grow up dreaming of a little girl who flies with dragonflies on the way to school, to fairies called but who flee, not to Lise in the snow Island of Saints. An island that is useful since it is one of his grandparents and they will find in less than a month.
Yves thank you for the beauty of your texts and to the friendship that you are willing to give all those strangers who we are.

in 2004, my father sent you a model of five titles that I had to register. You were kind enough to listen, and have sent him back (on 20 June 2004, when I was 20, great gift) a letter whose contents we are deeply touched.
The enthusiasm you have shown, your encouragement, your advice, and will be always present in my mind and in my heart.
thanks for your valuable advice, I was able to make meetings interesting ... My early career was very encouraging. I listen to your songs since my childhood, gave me this extra something that pushes me to write and compose.
I cherish the dream of sharing the stage with you the time of a song ...

    Hello,

I'm listening right now with much happiness and my daughter 21 months Méliane CD1 of "Yves Duteil singing children." And seeking explanations of "Mary marvel, Mary happiness", I came across this blog!

Several other songs ("Love Story", "Fairies" ...) have a structure similar 'echo', but it leaves me rather perplexed:
    - Who is Mary? The narrator's girlfriend?
    - Who is "you" in the second part of the song? The daughter of Mary and the narrator?
    - What does "Mary the shower"?

This song is 33 years old. I have almost as much. My parents helped me discover certaintes of your songs, I discovered other today by passing them to my daughter. What beautiful songs!

    Thank you very much.

    Christophe - Montreal (Quebec)

    Dear Christophe,
Marie Marie perfectly happy "is a particular song. I made around 1973. So I had about 24 years ... Very symbolic, it took people to love my future, my future child, his possible future bridegroom ... I had not "nothing" lived, I was planning a future expected, I saw my life as imaginary pan, unfold against a backdrop of emotions to come ... This is I guess, you make lighting hoped ...

    Dear Yves,

Which ... makes me want to tell you simply, but from the depths of my heart "THANK YOU"!

    Dear Yves,

I retry to file a brief comment on this blog ... Especially tricky! It changes me from this gray Belgian who does not finish, a sort of little sunshine in my life path ...

What a pleasure to find also the name of those that are randomly cotoie of your concerts, backstage where the "responsible" you say always absent and where, after a little well deserved rest, you come we always join ... With this pen that commemorates the concert ticket or responds to a question, what worries with each other, the emotion still noticeable in your eyes and those of your Noelle, always present, not far from you ...

Thank you for all that, for letters, responses to the upcoming album ...
I would take my guitar and sing your song ... I do not know the chords ... Where can I find the partition??

Thank you sweet and starry road to you and yours.

    Valerie of Belgium

    Yves,
Since I'm 20, you are with Veronique Sanson, not to mention Serge Reggiani, the singers that I have ever moved to tears, and who have accompanied my sorrows and my joys.
Many sentences ... but immense joys and heartbreaking by the births of my two children .... and for nearly three years by one of my adorable little-son, grandmother? What a wonderful "role" emotions .... "indescribable" which will be doubled because another angel (little brother or sister) will arrive in May .... Magic Moment!!!!
You are for me, a true poet, and more than music, I appreciate your words, I like to read ........
Like many others, you have bothered to answer a few small letters, thank you again .... that was long ago, but I still like a treasure your answers.
I lived in Seine et Marne, near your village, I had the opportunity to meet you "by far" .... especially one day at a school party, where you had accompanied on guitar children singing .... What was not my surprise, I had just applaud and congratulate this Saturday morning, a little boy I was involved in my work.
As I'd love to talk, share ... but out of shyness? not primarily out of respect: you give us so much already in your songs.
For all the love that is felt by your audience, I add mine with more admiration for the man ... and his marriage ...
Let me add this little phrase that I often feel raw in some of your songs:
"Always keep your hand in the hand of the child you were ..."
Thank you for this blog that allows us to feel "all" a bit like one of your "friends from afar", but so close in thoughts.

To write my first letter, it took me 25 years and your book because you were clearly the one to whom I had to deliver "my words that I never said" ... I can no longer allowed wait so long, even if my words seem always pale face to yours ...
The moment I gave you my letter to Banneux in Belgium (a place full of childhood memories) after your meal, during a sunny Sunday afternoon in December, will remain one of those magical moments that we keeps forever etched in her heart ... A big thank you to one of the organizers who passed on me the pipe (and I very selfishly kept to myself, it is also true for not too disturbing your meal ..) , the server very nice and understanding of the restaurant, and you for listening to me and responded warmly ...
Today, I want simply to tell you what a joy to discover your "blog to share" ... I'm glad to hear your entire purchase 12 new songs in your CD ... Another one of those magical moments and ennivrants perspective , especially since the last time was over 7 years ...
I just found out "if I was your path" to "France Bleu" ... a wonder! .. This song represents what I felt when my children in a rocking abre (sometimes a willow). The choice of study done by my grandfather Alexander (cross-study) and then his brother ... Our choice of lifestyle change today: abandonment of our lives all mapped out and tidy in Belgium and settled in the Hautes-Alpes by passion rather than reason ... Everything looks to be in this song.
"Faded Love Stories" in fact: how many times have I asked about this problem of separation, difficult to understand when we are fortunate to have almost 25 years with her boyfriend ...
And many other topics that affect us.

    Dear Yves
And yes, it's me again on the blog! and yet I told you not to want to write cete way. Unconditional letter of the old with beautiful stamps chosen according to the recipient, I told you a lot of fun with pen and paper. I told you the joy of recognizing a writing friend in the mailbox. I still like traditional mail, more personal, more intimate but your blog is great face have given us the birth of (fr) agile and an opportunity for exchanges. In addition we have come closer to vous.MILLE THANKS
THANK YOU also to have always answered my letters for 9 years, even during your ordeal with Noelle. You act as if nothing had happened: ADMIRABLE. And it is only by listening "to you may not die" I realized that I had not known. And here I was very chagrined not to have been, in my letters, to "the delicate gestures" that would have brought warm support
    Very affectionately
    ANNIE

    Hello,
what happiness to "arrive" here, almost by accident! In seeking a photo of yourself, to play a game on a sewing site.
Fan for so long! Admiration of the man as much as the artist.
It is with great pleasure that I am going through your pages,
what real happiness to be got here!
(Friends tell me that you can not enjoy my article, photos and borrowed a song on You tube socket, if for some reason you want me to remove them from my pages, I will do immediately:

Thank you for this blog that I will carefully now.
