It was a great show that the large studio Veronique Sanson, while pleasure from one end to another. You could feel happy and soothed by Vero guests around her. I would have left that Vero and Yves face to face, because there was little room for collusion and musical improvisations Vero / Yves. The link between "if I was your path" and "do not leave me," good question. These two songs have in common a great message of love, the first describes the most beautiful love that we can bequeath to loved ones, without necessarily driving guide, Yves directs and imposes nothing: "If I were your way, I would like to point you let go of the hand for you to be the only one to choose your destiny. " This song is divine, the words of infinite depth but remember, I wrote that it took time to grasp all the nuances ... The second song is also a great message of love Jacques Brel where the exposes and explodes in the contrasts of the time. As parents of three teenagers or young adults, we would like to highlight two songs from this wonderful album that challenge us in particular. They each sing the love of a father for her child.

The love that opens different routes, short cuts, food for thought ...

I quite agree with Annie's comment on "Do not leave me." I also think that Jacques Brel was not identified in the "I" of this song.
With all due respect I have for the Grand Jacques, I chose "If I was your path" because it pushes forward into the future, it's a song full of constructive energy, while "Do not leave me" is still looking to the past, to something that is already lost and, one suspects, will not return.
