Michel wrote me a beautiful letter in 2003, and a dozen of our fellow artists, we propose to start with him in a creative adventure, an album which we would do the texts, and he composed the music . An exceptional step, unprecedented ...
An excerpt from his letter: 
"I felt like the obvious brotherhood that unites us. I realized with real emotion quedepuis 35, (...) we rubbed shoulders on TV trays, on the airwaves or in events in which we can not escape, without us really knowing, but knowing each other and recognize a good song. What a great bunch of big boys you are! And what a mass of talent you represent! What songs are born of your happiness, your suffering or your trouble.
So congratulations and thank you!
I am proud to have been at your side, of this common core of popular culture of our country. I think it's time to put a climax to my score. I wish it was the highlight is a tribute to you. The only way I make you this tribute is still doing the only thing I do know: the music and melodies, my hook and loop singing a text of each of you. It will take the time needed. For this album out of the ordinary, I guess excellence. It's the least we can do given the value of your gift ...

This is a great idea! Of course I listened carefully to the song, of course I find it beautifully written and sung.

you have an amazing talent for writing not only for you but for others, I remember a song made by you for LAURENS Rose in 1986 as "Writing your life on me" and as always for your texts Others are the custom, Thank you Dear great artist, and thanks to Mr. FUGAIN for wanting you to participate in his album as it is beautiful, and I find that between artists there are moments like that have strong songs, and then when an artist made for another artist soon made it a rainbow of beautiful things so thanks to you both.

Again guitar slung, you mark your mark in the history of The French Song. In "Congratulations and thank you" is indeed recognizes your handwriting. Poetic, words of troubadours, you take along our paths in which the mind knows what the song "Circus". "A little Cirque has installed its web at the end of the city as a master magician the ball like to repeat ..." Immediately, "Congratulations and thank you" seemed the logical and indisputable of this song written in 1986. Yet "Congratulations and thank you" for this masterpiece.
Indeed we see you on TV a lot and I am very sorry, but I listen your songs on the disc and you also go occasionally on local radio, also like all artists of the 70s voila! I say bravo, my favorite song is take a child by the hand, to see you soon

Ten years have passed since we first met in the theater of Mons and you had listened to three of my compositions and sent a card and places in Paris.
I have since released a CD with some jazz musicians such as Jean Louis Rassinfosse, Alexandre Cavaliere.
I was accompanied by a long way, developed their sensitivity through my songs and I would like to listen to this CD, share this sensibility that animates me with a great French song whose experience is undoubtedly a guarantee of quality.

Smith, his songs I know, forgive me for telling you but yours are less familiar to me although I appreciate those that everyone just went connait.je you listen to Verviers and then frankly I think that I lost time and it is imperative that your albums are enthroned beside those of Michel discothèque.Vos in my texts are so strong and your melodies so harmonious that I deprive myself of the most fun écouter.Dans "Congratulations and thank you" your pen and I had already conquered the meeting of your two talents made this song a true masterpiece.
