A very big thank you to all ... The evening of April 7 to the European remain for me a great moment of magic, sharing, wonderful reunion, really .... Beyond the presentation of songs, it was also the day the Olympic torch relay in Paris, I could not remain silent ... Many of you have asked me the text of the beginning of the concert ... Here it is.
"Thank you for coming to discover the songs from my new album (fr) agile tonight at The European. Today April 7, 2008, the Olympic torch passes through Paris, Capital of Human Rights and the birthplace of Olympism. Flame, a symbol of sharing, openness and fairness, carries with it the hope of a more fraternal humanity, more respectful, and the imprint of a peaceful event where the best wins. Today, one can not help thinking in Tibet, free country, silenced by violence, crashed into their culture, spirituality, destroyed by its powerful neighbor who celebrates facing the world today, the values that he flouts daily for fifty years in Tibet. In Paris and elsewhere, we can not remain silent to the passage of flame that gathers, that shines and warms, when she wears the face of injustice, falsehood and violence. Tibet Medal of survival, resistance to oppression, endurance of torture, struggles to the inability of nations to end his ordeal. "(Fr) agile" is also the title of Tibet. This fight is ours with Noelle for twenty years. Tonight more than ever, we can join forces and to dedicate our thoughts to this country and its people a moment of solidarity and hope through this evening. I wrote a song in 1997 for SANGDROL Ngawang, a young Tibetan woman trapped at the age of 11 and sentenced to 24 years in prison for singing his longing for freedom. She was released under pressure from international opinion. Nothing is impossible.
For the gold of conscience is stronger than the money business, and that Tibetan spirituality remains a treasure of humanity, have a thought for all the people, by offering our solidarity to block the silence Nations.
Do not let the Olympic torch in Tibet stifle hope. "
And the publication is complete, the Tibetan flag flying over City Hall Précy ... "For a better world ..."

"The blue note" is the last song on the album ... Tomorrow, I'll sing them all on the stage of "European" in Paris. A birth ... It is the eve of battle. I read your great posts over the week, touching omens of a more than encouraging home ... You have been very helpful to build that dream is now real. On the eve of the first "Concert (fr) agile" I want to thank you all for your faithful friendship, and for the quality of your reactions, comments. The blog is almost a year, is already a fair way of sharing between us. I look forward to tomorrow, to continue this journey in the provinces, to prepare the Dejazet by building the show. The adventure is just beginning ...

Twelfth (and last) from the album "(fr) agile" ...
I dove into his "Manuscripts" (Textual Ed), traveled the wealth and generosity of his inspiration, more ideas ... I have been inhabited by his writings, his drafts, his erasures, the portraits drawn of a line, a highlighted word, and I traveled in his footsteps as from a brother of the pen. Beyond the beauty of images, words resonate deep singing, marrying jazz, blues, Brazil, Africa ...
"Toulouse", what masterpiece. Hard to write after that ... To honor him, I redid my song ten times. Art Mengo is complicit, too, for music ...
"Strange,
This impression of an angel,
A brother of universal pen
And find the same spark
Of Occitan language beautiful ...
The Blue Note, the right word, in perfect harmony. "
(Yves Duteil Lyrics, Music Art Mengo / Yves Duteil)
