The holidays, what a great opportunity to work! During last summer, writing the album had occupied my days and nights. This year, the summer will be devoted to the preparation of the new show in Paris in October ... The Concerts (fr) agile allowed to try out the new songs on stage, we have to build the show in its final version for Dejazet. This is what we have undertaken in recent weeks, with Fabrice Chapuis RAVEL (arranger), Franck and Francois Xavier SEGUY Clarence (musicians), choosing the songs, adapting the arrangements for our new stage musical format. The course of the show, the lights, set design, everything remains to be invented. This is where we will continue this work, the magic of the teeming bush "which have built their dream home" ... And for us to challenge, we decided to give three concerts in Corsica, "before-before -preview ", just for fun ... and in gratitude for the inspiration that gave me notre'île to write, compose most of my songs, especially the latter. So we will sing:
- Thursday, July 10, 2008 in Ajaccio on LAZARET Ollandini Aspretto,
- Friday, July 11, 2008 in Bonifacio, the Marina
- Saturday, July 12, 2008 in Porto Vecchio, the Centre Cultu rel.
The LAZARET Aspretto in Ajaccio is a magical place, steeped in history. This is where the sailors in the seventeenth century, returning from the tropics, had to wait forty days (in "quarantine"), isolation, before they can rejoin their families for fear of epidemics. Sontremarquablement rehabilitated buildings, and concerts are presented in the courtyard.
The harbor of Bonifacio is a fjord where you can admire the Citadel overlooking the sea
Finally, we saw born and grow the beautiful Cultural Center of Porto Vecchio, standing at the Cinémathèque de Corse, and we shared the story of those who wanted to live and do ...
This is not a "tour" usually we will do on the island, but a friendly hello to honor those who gave us hospitality family, a nod to Jean-Pierre Marcellesi (to South), Jean-Claude Acquaviva & A Girl, another to Michael W. Smith, (up there to the north), and those by whose faces are etched between the lines of all the songs, as an exchange permanent. We will share these blessings big and small, as far as practicable, on the Blog ...
